Using locally foraged and donated materials allows each piece of my art to remain completely unique. Every work is created with Grade A2 specimens—imperfect insects whose natural beauty and individuality become an integral part of the finished piece. Through this process, I’ve cultivated a deep connection with the materials and the stories they carry, allowing them to guide the creation of my magical Intentional Terrariums.
I consider making art my greatest form of active meditation. With a background in the healing arts, I begin each piece by setting an intention for the materials and allowing them to lead the way. I rarely know the final outcome when I begin. By surrendering to that uncertainty, I create space for something unexpected and alchemical to take place.
